Friday Favorites

Another Friday at Inplace Studio.  We have had a great week, looking forward to a gorgeous weekend.  Here are a few of our favorites of the week:

We attended NKBA’s monthly meeting which was held at the newly renovated Cabochon Surfaces & Fixtures.  They had new stunning Waterworks fixtures and lighting on display.  We were drooling over one of their new waterjet floors, featuring marble and metal in a classic pattern.  Also on display was some really need 3D wood panels; these had our minds spinning just thinking of the possibilities.  If you have not made a trip into Cabochon we highly recommend a stop in for some stone & tile inspirations.  While you are there take a step in a few doors down to Lavish, their sister company featuring unique bath products.  You won’t be disappointed. 2014-06-10 17.55.50   When it comes to options for door styles for the kitchen, Wood-Mode offers over 200 different styles.  From traditional to contemporary.  Below are a few of their new styles which can be done in your favorite wood and stain, or painted and glazed with their hundreds of design colors to choose from. WoodMode Collage   Choosing lighting for your kitchen can be overwhelming.   Illuminating Interiors in San Diego has so many great options and a great staff to help.  Below are a few that we love for over your island.  From ornate to simple, Illuminating Interiors has any style to suit your needs. Lighting Collage   We were recently introduced to Koket by Esteban Interiors.  They are the exclusive dealer of these stunning pieces in California.  Koket offers a range of lighting, upholstered items and casegoods.  The attention to detail and their finishes are unlike anything in the industry.  It is edgy, sexy and we cannot wait to see some of these pieces in one of our upcoming projects (stay tuned for photos).  Esteban came to the rescue when we were in need of some very unique pieces.  Our client couldn’t be happier.  Check out Esteban Interior’s showroom on Girard in La Jolla. Koket Collage We are always on the look out for new and inspiring stone & tile products.  The new “Scribe” collection by Ann Sacks takes water-jet patterns to the next level.  Each water-jetted piece of stone is then etched to give it some texture.  These are beyond beautiful and I can think of a few projects this would be perfect for!  The possibilities for this product are endless.  I can see these on a kitchen splash, a Powder Room feature wall, a Pool bath, a unique stone rug in your bathroom.  How would you want to use these new mosaics? AnnSacksCollage And we wouldn’t dare leave you on this Friday without some weekend cocktail inspiration via Kelly Flores!  Check out these refreshing summer cocktails on her blog. summer-cocktails  Pin It
