Seaside Transitional Residential Remodel

Transitional Design

In Southern California, the kitchen was drawn to suit both the architecture and the routines of the household. The details that usually get improvised were instead resolved carefully, ahead of installation.

What emerged is a room that balances warmth and restraint, made to be lived in daily, installed by a dedicated team.

A seaside transitional kitchen has to be relaxed enough for sandy feet and refined enough for a dinner party. This remodel balances the two with simple framed doors, a generous island and a light palette that carries the beach light through the room.

Storage was organized for a household that cooks daily and entertains often, with tall cabinetry absorbing the pantry and appliances so the main elevations stay uncluttered. The cabinetry was made to the measured room and installed white-glove by our team. More in luxury custom cabinets.
