Custom Kitchen — Carlsbad

Custom Cabinetry Design

Inplace Studio designed this Carlsbad home to feel resolved — nothing forced, nothing left over. Materials, storage and sightlines were considered together, long before fabrication began.

The outcome is a space that feels grounded and refined, the cabinetry settling into the architecture, installed by a dedicated team.

Carlsbad’s newer coastal homes have generous, open kitchens, and this project treats the cabinetry as architecture rather than furniture. Full-height tall units anchor one wall, the island carries the working side of the room, and integrated appliance panels keep the long sightline from the living area uninterrupted.

Every dimension was taken from the finished walls and ceiling heights so the runs land exactly, with no fillers or awkward reveals. Interiors were organized around the owners’ cooking habits. Our own installers completed the fit-out. See related Carlsbad luxury kitchens.
