Warm White, Natural Walnut
This La Jolla remodel pairs Wood-Mode’s Chatham Recessed cabinetry in Nordic White maple with a natural walnut island and Taj Mahal quartzite counters, designed, specified and installed by Inplace Studio’s La Jolla showroom. Panel-ready Sub-Zero refrigeration disappears behind full-height paneled tall cabinets, and a Wolf range sits under a custom white hood with a full-height quartzite backsplash.
The walnut island carries through the details: walnut dovetail drawers, walnut-veneer interiors throughout, and a walnut open pantry tower beside the range. The kitchen opens straight into the beamed living room, where a floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace surround continues the palette.

The powder room is built around a floating natural stone vanity and a full-height stone slab wall behind a backlit round mirror. In the primary bath, a floating white oak vanity with under-lighting sits beside a marble walk-in shower with brushed brass fixtures.
